After You're Admitted to UAlberta
1. Pay Your Tuition Deposit
New/incoming students who are offered admission must pay a non-refundable $500 CAD Tuition Deposit in order to become eligible to register in courses.
This deposit lets us know that you intend to come to UAlberta and will save your place in any courses in which you have registered. You can pay this deposit on Bear Tracks. It will be credited towards your final tuition amount.
2. Register for Courses
You can register for courses online using Bear Tracks.
You can see your course availability and your timetable after you add a course to your schedule. When you are finished, you can view and print your schedule.
3. Prepare to Arrive
Start your university experience early! Learn valuable skills for academic success through these preparatory programs, which are offered before the start of the academic year:
- U of A+, an introductory academic skills program open to all first-year international undergraduate students
- The Science Summer Academy, open to all international students who have received admission to the Faculty of Science, and are entering directly from high school
